Decision time for Leeds trialists

Upload main image here:
Leeds boss Gary McAllister is to decide whether to sign striker Luciano Becchio.

The Argentine is one of three trialists who McAllister has put through their paces at Elland Road this summer.

Marcus Haber has missed out on a move to Leeds but McAllister says the chances are better for Becchio.

"A decision will be made very quickly. I think he brings us something," he said.

The third player on trial at Leeds is former Southampton, Celtic and Coventry player Paul Telfer.

"As for Paul, he is a superb professional. His physical condition is as good as anyone’s here. He is a player I would like to bring in if possible," McAllister added.
